North Wales run to Betws-Y-Coed |
| A
222 mile run starting from the M6 junction 20A meet-up, through a
rich variety of North Wales's finest and little known roads, with a stop
off at the popular bikers' haunt of Betws-Y-Coed nestling at the bottom
of its steep-cut picturesque valley, and a rip past the base of Snowdon
itself. This run purposely avoids
much contact with the infamous A5, and it's summertime swarm of
constabulary. You'll swoop along some fine fast 'A' roads, pass
through out of the way villages down technically interesting back roads
and experience the full range of what Wales can offer in the way of
scenery and terrain. If you like biking variety then you'll love
this route.
An additional meet-up has been added at the M60 (Manchester Orbital) junction 10 for those coming in from the east side of the country. |
