Clive:  Emma, John, Tina and Ian demonstrate the abstinence theme of the event, but importantly the mandatory requirement to just have a bloody good time!  Was this before Emma went walkabout on the hotel balcony after getting locked out?

Clive:  The six courses of the dinner provided further opportunity for enjoyment and good chin-wagging sessions.  Everybody was very complimentary about the meal, and I particularly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. x

Clive:  This year's popular and very well earned Clogger of the Year Award was made to Jane Biesz for the sheer rate at which she has progressed with her riding skills, and who has shown an indomitable approach to her riding far and above what could be reasonably expected from one of such limited riding experience - she only passed her test just over a year ago!.  She has shown guts and determination in safely keeping up with the rides on some of the most rapid of sections.

Clive:  And of course, for a Whippets & Clogs event............. 

Meet Daisy who is a 14 year old whippet-cross, kindly brought along for the weekend by Freebird.  And here she is modeling the Clogger of the Year Award trophy.

Clive:  Presentation of 'Stunt Rider of the Year' to Tina (Mrs IanRobbo1) for her stunning stunt riding demonstration on the luggage rack of Ian's Bird on the Sedbergh to Devil's Bridge section of a run.  More impressive still was her total nonchalance after dismounting at Devil's Bridge.

Well done Tina!

Clive:  Presentation of the 'Stalwart Award' just had to go to Del (Grey Wolf) who's always 'up for a ride' no matter the weather or the fact that he has often to ride over a 100 miles to the start, and the same back home.  Del 'just loves to ride that bike' and is always good fun, a real 'stalwart' Clogger.
